MBA Productions, Inc. was formed in 1987 by professional ballet dancers Mary Beth Budd and Allison Gonzalez. Together they introduced their Trienawear® line of ballet and dance skirts with the cut, drape, and detail that would flatter the dancer's body.
In 1992, Ms. Budd became the sole owner of MBA Productions, Inc. In 1997, she introduced the new bodywear line, Extensions®, incorporating a full-weight Smooth Support bra into gracefully styled, low-back pieces. The unique two-in-one design eliminates the need for an undergarment when wearing a low-back garment.
In 2002, Ms. Budd designed the Trienawear Ballerina line of pretty leotards and dance dresses for adults and children. Now in 2007, she introduces two very different dancewear lines: the environmentally conscious EntropyTM line of Organic dancewear, and the beautiful new Performance line designed to flatter the dancer with Nylon Spandex and Mesh.
Trienawear has been featured in such publications as Dance Magazine, Dance Pages, New York Woman, the The York Times, Dance Spirit, Dance Teacher, Pointe and Women’s Wear Daily. In 1994 Newsweek magazine and a host of newspapers nationwide ran photos of Olympic figure Skater Nancy Kerrigan wearing Trienawear floral skirts.
Today, Trienawear® has evolved into five complete fashion dancewear lines: Entropy, Performance, Extensions, Trienawear Kids, Trienawear Skirts.
